I understand that you were in Paris area waiting for the end of your house's renovation, using the 612 a lot between these 2 locations?

My wife (who is French) and I are very fortunate that our work has revolved around the London/Paris axis for some time.  Once we bought the renovation project we have been staying more in our Paris home and making frequent trips to check on the work and enjoy the garden.  I have also perfected the Aix tgv pickup…where i take whatever interesting driving route to the south i choose and then i meet my wife at the Aix tgv station..and we continue together to our final destination.  In the last 12 months we have done this 6 times.

 

I think given the fleet of 612’s on this forum a get together drive and meal are in order.  If anyone is interested please let me know.

Why did you remove your winter tyres set? With the temperatures we have at present time, they seem to be the best choice, no?

Look closely…these are  W rated Pirelli Sottozero II Winter tires.  They are date code 2018 so I decided to give them one last go and save the michelin’s which are date code 2021/2022 for the next few seasons.

 

I have a few too many tires in my garage is what this really says (I have a full set of summer/winter pirelli and summer/winter michelin for the 612).
