more or less 180 k euro of total bill, and car still needs something else that is planned for next month.

This is the bill for a shining car like mine, but you can save some money if you do not need a perfect car (that are very rare, trust me).

C'est marrant, just told Georges a few minutes ago that if there weren't a family obligation I really can't avoid, I'd sign in for the Ferrarista trip to Maranello (And Santa Agata, and the Mille Miglia) and take advantage of it to spend a visit to Alberto.

Well, more to is car than to him indeed, at this moment, but I'm sure we can develop nice discussions based on shared taste !

May be you mean a LP400S: unless it's the first serie with Bravo wheels (just 50 produced), it costs the same money as a 5000 S as it's the same car with just a bigger engine.

Standard very good S cars are at 140-150 k, car with some work needed are at 130 k. I saw recently with my eyes some Countach for sale here in Italy: a 400S at 186k (good), a 400S at 130 k (many works needed), a 5000S (very good) at 160 k, a Quattrovalvole (perfect) at 206 k, a 400S2 at 180 K (USA model, very good) 

But let's stop talking about money!

Yes Emmanuel, we can talk about money and Countach, i hope this is not boring for other members to talk so much of a Lambo on a Ferrari Forum.

A restore of a CT can cost 30 k, 50k, 100 k or 150 k euro, it depends how high your target is: if you want to resell it or keep the car.

if there are problems on a CT, here you are the fixing costs:

engine 25-30 k euro (major rebuilt, 3 k just for camshafts bearings...)

gearbox and transmission 10 k (3,5 k just for the clutch bearing...)

painting 15 k

suspension joints 10 k (all)

interior 8 k (full leather and trunck)

tyres 1,5 k (if you can find them...)

oil lines 10 k (you have to destroy the car to change them)

A/C lines 3 k

muffler 1,5 k

shock adsorbers 1 k (all six, just a rebuilt, all new are 12 k)

minor things 10 k (consider this even if you buy a perfectly shining car...)

and others (may be missing or not original parts)

I spent 1,5 k just to fix the rear wing... (3 k if you want one new)  and then i realized i preferred the car without it so i put it in a box...

Do not try to save money: that thing is very expensive to fix and not easy too, so better buy the best you find and pay it.

If you want you can post the pictures where you want, but not that one with the full plate numbers, ok?
