I bought it 6 months before I retired from being a rocket engineer most of my life. I had a 1992 911 with 236k miles on it when it was rear ended in 2013 and It was my daily driver. I also had a 2008 Cayman S which felt like it was glued to the road. I sold the Cayman and took the money from insurance settlement on 911 to buy the 575. I now have a 2001 Jaguar xk8 as daily driver. I do my own work on cars and I rebuilt the 911 engine in 2004 and have done all maintenance on 575 so far. Next year will be belts and I believe I have the tools and docs I need to do the work. I am just now trying to add rear fog lights to my 575 and would appreciate it if anyone in Europe could look under the passenger foot well and take a picture of the relay R9. It is the relay with the C label. US models do not have a relay installed in that location. thanks Modifié le 8 septembre 2016 par stevepaa grammar Citer Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites

stevepaa 0 Signaler ce message Posté(e) le 8 septembre 2016 Excellent, many thanks philM. The 575 then uses that same relay for many functions. All the black relays are the same. But Ferrari used a special rear fog relay unit on the 456 and the 550. One more question for you. When you press on the rear fog light switch, does it move to an "on" position or is it just momentary and it springs back by itself? Olivier 44 6 Signaler ce message Posté(e) le 11 septembre 2016 Waooo, your car looks just fantastic, both inside and outside!! I can see the weather in California suits her Lucky car :-) (I used to live there) No issue with the miscellaneous parts "sticking"? I own a Maserati of the same era and I keep on changing the plastic parts inside cause they don't age that well with hot weather and too much sunshine... stevepaa 0 Signaler ce message Posté(e) le 11 septembre 2016 I cleaned the row of switches with denatured alcohol and they look great. Only one of the knobs on the climate panel is sticky. My real problem is the tabs holding the climate panel in place are broken. I need to repair. I have some plastic pieces on order to replace the posts which sheared off and I will make new tab supports from aluminum sheeting. Citer Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
