456M GTA Fly Wheel Plugs - Bouchons de volant moteur 456M GTA

Hi

 

I have had an issue with vibrations on my 456. It is currently with the specialist and whilst replacing bearings in the drive train he noticed the plugs were missing from the fly wheel. A bolt seems to have fallen in to the casing and destroyed the existing plugs. Upon searching we can source a fly wheel easily but not the 6 plugs. Can any one assist with this? What purpose do they serve?

J'ai un problème de vibrations sur ma 456. Le spécialiste est actuellement en train de la vérifier et, lors du remplacement des roulements de la transmission, il a remarqué l'absence des bougies du volant moteur. Un boulon semble être tombé dans le carter et avoir détruit les bougies existantes. Après quelques recherches, nous pouvons facilement trouver un volant moteur, mais pas les six bougies. Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ? À quoi servent-elles ?

Hi Sandy,

 

Those rubber plugs, part number 111540, are "anti vibration bushes". It seems there aren't any available from the factory anymore so your best bet is to hunt for a used flywheel that hopefully will come with them.

 

Have you asked at Maranello Classic Parts though? Since they have picture of the actual item there might be a chance they still have it in stock.
