<p>
	Why does the Ferrari brand benefit from such an aura, placing it above all others? The Ferraris that you discover at Rétromobile give you the answer, allowing you to travel through automotive history. What were the most beautiful Ferraris present at Rétromobile in 2024? How can we learn about their fascinating history? And their chassis number, essential, because it allows you to follow their evolution over the years?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	A 2024 innovation on Ferrarista.club will help you: the photos from our on-site visit are accompanied by descriptive texts, translated, placed next to the Ferraris on the Rétromobile stands. This allows you to experience Rétromobile as if you were there. And if you were there, you probably didn't have time to read everything. Now you can do it, sitting quietly at home, to relive those good times! It is also a way of thanking the stands which take the time to write these explanatory texts for the general public, covering the history of the Ferrai presented, and to encourage other stands to do so as well.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	When you see a Ferrari present at Rétromobile again in 2024, thanks to its chassis number, you will find here which edition of Rétromobile it was, and in what configuration this Ferrari was presented. On the way to retracing the history of Ferrari with Rétromobile! Because if you are a Ferrari owner, and/or Ferrari enthusiast, you need to know this story.

	This car was metallic grey, with twin tail lights on each side. According to Ferrari Classiche, this car, 4053 GT was originally grey (grigio) and was delivered to Franco Britannic Autos (F.B.A.) here in Paris, in December 1962, having been completed in September 1962.

<p>
	Esteemed Ferrari historian and sales manager of F.B.A. in the 1960s, the late Jess Pourret, corresponded with the current owner, stating that 4053 GT was in fact the Paris Salon motor show car and provided detail and photographs of its early life in France, showing the car featuring its distinctive four rear tail lights.

<p>
	Ferrari historian Antoine Prunet states that the Lusso Prototype in both the marketing materials and at the Paris Salon is 'probably 4053 GT'.
</p>

<p>
	Other, more recently written reports, suggest that the other prototype 3849 GT was in fact the Paris Salon car. That prototype is understood to be mid-rebuild in Germany.
</p>

<p>
	According to Pourret, 4053 GT was in France for its first 10 years and sadly set on fire as an insurance scam in 1973. The car was then in storage in Holland and bought by an investor in the US in the 90s, who subsequently lost interest in the project.
</p>

<p>
	Having owned and tinkered with over 50 Ferrari 250 GTs including several Lussos, in 2007, the current owner recognised the significance of the car and had the understanding, experience and the resources to restore the car.
</p>

<p>
	He sent the original matching numbers engine block to Roelofs Engineering for a full rebuild and it was fitted with high compression pistons.

</p>

<p>
	When Enzo Ferrari began building automobiles in his own name in 1948, the purpose was to be active in racing. He had already proven his ability to organise and manage a racing team, the Scuderia Ferrari, which had run the factory Alfa Romeo cars in the Thirties, as well as his ability to race a variety of race cars in the Twenties.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Success came quickly to the new team at Maranello with wins in the Mille Miglia and the Targa Florio. In 1949 FERRARI again captured the Targa Florio and Mille Miglia, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Spa Francorchamps. And in 1952 Alberto Ascari won the first Grand Prix Driver's World Championship. Between 1953 and 1961, seven of nine Constructors' Championships were won by FERRARI. FERRARI was also successful in supplying cars to privateers who were winning races all over the world.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	By 1959, FERRARI was firmly established as world's foremost manufacturer of Sports and Racing cars, and the immense success of the 250 GT (4 times Winner of the Tour de France) and the 250 Testa Rossa had cemented the foundation of the magic racing image of FERRARI. A new model was in preparation for 1960 that should continue the tradition of the Berlinetta Tour de France, but should be even faster and even more agile. Hence was created the new 250 GT Berlinetta Short Wheelbase, featuring a revised V12 3-litre engine with outside plugs and increased power, wheelbase shortened from 260 cm to 240 cm with yet another timeless coachwork design by Pininfarina.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The 250 GT Berlinetta Short Wheelbase was divided into two separate models - the Steel (or road) version (with body made of steel) and the Competition version, obviously destined for Competition, featuring lighter aluminium coachwork, outside petrol filler cap, high-performance engine and optimised suspension.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This particular car, 250 GT Berlinetta Short Wheelbase SEFAC Competition 1961 Chassis No. 3005GT 1961, is one of the rare last SEFAC Competition versions, featuring a thinner-gauge aluminium body, a thinner-gauge chassis specification, an even more highly developed competition engine and various other features aimed at making this last version most competitive.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	In the mid-Fifties, FERRARI had become world-famous as a manufacturer of sports and racing cars. All the knowledge gained on the track was immediately applied to production cars making them successful with owners and enthusiasts alike.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Introduced to the public at the 1953 Paris Automobile Salon, alongside the 375 America, the 250 Europa was the first road-going Ferrari identified by the now legendary 250 series nomenclature and the only 250 to carry the Aurelia Lampredi-designed V12 engine which was the chosen engine for FERRARI early sports racing cars, producing over 200 HP. It was the 250 Sport, driven to victory by Bracco/Rolfo in the 1952 Mille Miglia, which demonstrated the engine's capabilities and prompted FERRARI to use it in its first luxury production sports car. Lampredi's race-proven long-block V12 engine endowed the 250 Europa with phenomenal performance - the 250 Europa was capable of 220 kph top speed and an acceleration of under 9 seconds from 0-100 kph.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	All cars were entirely hand-built, and no two were exactly alike, new knowledge and experience with the racing cars being applied instantly as production was going on. A mere 20 cars of the Tipo 103 250 Europa were built, of which 16 cars with Pinin Farina Coupé coachwork. The early cars had a projecting and overhanging radiator grille with a high waistline compared to the low but rather ordinary greenhouse. Later cars, including 0351EU featured a fully integrated more modern looking radiator with a redesigned greenhouse featuring a striking wrap-around rear window and the elimination of the rear quarter windows giving the car a sportier look.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This particular car, 250 Europa Pinin Farina Coupé, Chassis Number 0351EU, is unique for a number of reasons. It is the last only around 20 250 Europa with the Lampredi engine built (before the introduction of the Europa GT with the Colombo engine) with the most striking Pinin Farina body design. It was finished on 25m May 1954 for Los Angeles-based famous movie director Clarence Brown (who produced numerous movies with actors such as Rudolph Valentino and Greta Garbo). Instead of taking the car directly to California he toured Europe for a few months, participating in the 1954 Cannes Concours d'Elegance Automobile, earning him laurels in the 1954 Ferrari Yearbook. Brown sold the car in 1958 to Washington resident Lawrence Garden who kept the car for 3 years before selling it to Stanley Baker from Seattle. It was Mr. Baker who ended up being 0351EU's custodian for an incredible 42 years.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Early in his ownership he repainted the car to the beautiful enamel Ivory colour before showing it no less than 3 times in the renowned Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance (1965, 1966 and 1990). Baker clearly cherished his beloved possession tremendously which is evidenced by the car's incredible originality including the original, preserved interior.

	The 375 MM models (boasting a Lampredi V12 4.5 litre engine with an impressive 340bhp and replacing the 340 MM with 4.1 litre), were built in 1953 and 1954, helping Ferrari win the 1954 Championship. Initially run as SEFAC Works Cars, the 375 MM was also sold to privateer teams, whilst the 375 Plus (increased to 4.9 litre) was also introduced during the 1954 season. Some 26 375 MM were built, of which 13 375 MM featured the stunningly beautiful Pinin Farina Spider design, with three of these being rebodied by Scaglietti in period, thus only ten remaining in their original configuration.

	375 MM Pinin Farina Spider 0362AM with Scuderia Parravano 1953 - 1958

<p>
	Tony Parravano, Italian-born and living in California, was the most important client of both MASERATI and FERRARI in that period and as such enjoyed preferential treatment by both manufacturers. Before production of the 375 MM had started, Parravano already paid for his car in 1953 and was allocated 0362AM by the factory. He very proudly took delivery of 0362AM on October 31st, 1953. The original Foglio di Montaggio shows that the identity of his car was changed from 0376AM to 0362AM before delivery. 0362AM was intensely raced by Scuderia Parravano in 1954 with many 1st OA in the American SCCA race series driven mainly by Jack McAfee. Its most important race was the 1955 Sebring where McAfee was going well, but had to retire due to the car catching fire, causing damage to the rear part of the car, repaired immediately afterwards and repainted in Maroon. The Parravano period ended with the mysterious disappearance of Tony Parravano (rumoured for reasons of tax evasion), resulting in 0362AM being sold to Colonel Sorrell in an IRS Auction, together with more cars and parts from the Parravano stable.

<p>
	Further Racing for 0362AM 1955 - 1968
</p>

<p>
	As was typical for the period (with new models introduced and changing FIA rules) 0362AM was modified by Scuderia Parravano and later with Frank Arciero in California. In 1955 the chassis was shortened to enter the 1955 Carrera Panamericana (event cancelled), and in 1958 0362AM was fitted with a Mistral fiberglass body to compete in the USAC and Pacific Coast Sports Championship series. Indeed 0362AM enjoyed significant race success when driven by Dan Gurney, Skip Hudson and Bob Bondurant.

<p>
	Charles Betz and Fred Peters 1968 - 2014
</p>

<p>
	Charles Betz and Fred Peters, very knowledgeable collectors from Orange, California, were successful in buying 0362AM with the help of Ron Kellogg in 1968. In a difficult search and intense activity during the subsequent years, Betz/Peters were successful in tracing those parts which over the years had been removed from 0362AM. Many of them were in the Sorrell estate, some were sourced from Chinetti, and more from Newport Beach collector Ernie Beutler. A skilful and comprehensive restoration by Betz/Peters over the coming years, involving the best specialists of the time including Steve Beckman of Costa Mesa, was most successful, re-uniting 0362AM with the original parts, and restoring 0362AM to its original specification as delivered new in 1953.

<p>
	To the delight of the Ferrari Collectors World, 0362AM has been seen back to original splendour in recent years, including participation in the Mille Miglia each year.

	The car presented here was delivered to Ferrari dealer Comptoir Automobiles Richard SA in Brussels, Belgium on August 20, 1951. On January 19, 1952, the vehicle was exhibited at the 35th Brussels Motor Show. In the first years the vehicle was owned exclusively by Belgian Ferrari enthusiasts.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Then in 1953 the car was sold to Jacques Swaters of Garage Francorchamps. Through Mr. Swaters, the 340 America went to racer Pierre d'Haveloose, who participated in a number of races in Belgium. In 1957, Armand "Blary" Blaton, the father-in-law of Jacky Ickx, bought the car and participated, among others, in the 4th Rallye d'Automne.<br>
	In the following years, the car went back into the possession of Garage Francorchamps and then to the famous collector Dr. Paul F. Schouwenburg, who had the car restored and documented the process in his book "Ferrari Fever".
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	From 1986 to 2010, the vehicle was part of the famous Lucchini collection in Italy.<br>
	It participated several times in the famous Mille Miglia with three previous, while it is in our clientele since 2013. In 2017 it was certified by Ferrari Classiche with a so-called "Red Book".

<p>
	For the 1934 competition season S.A. Scuderia Ferrari produced the final Alfa Romeo 8C Monza's, using locally built chassis frames to their own specifications and increasing the engine size to 2.6 liters, and new bodies by Carrozzeria Brianza. All other components used came from second series Alfa Romeo 8C 2300's that were in stock at the Scuderia workshop.

<p>
	SF25 was registered - MO 7139 - on the 4th of April 1934, and a little time later in the Mille Miglia, Tadini and Barbeiri led the way racing SF25 to Roma holding off Nuvolari, Varzi, and all the other aces while averaging 120 kmph.

	A big THANK YOU to all the stands which provide visitors with so many explanations on the models on display. Some give much more detail than others, the levels of information are disparate and stands which do not provide any information should be encouraged to do so, so that people become even more passionate about the models on display.

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The traditional trip to Maranello, since more than twenty have already been organized, was this time exceptional in more than one way.
</p>

<p>
	On the one hand, it started in Turin, where everyone met in the former Fiat factory, the Lingotto, famous for its rooftop test track, and transformed into a hotel. The opportunity to discover a beautiful part of Italian automotive history, which continued the next day with an exceptional private visit to the Stellantis Heritage Hub, which brings together legendary cars from Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	On the other hand, we had reserved the new program for the visiting card of the Ferrari factory, allowing us to discover, in addition to the previous editions, the Ferrari foundry, the painting department and the design department. As usual, we had also added, in addition to the classic visit to the assembly lines, the visit to the Scaglietti bodywork, but also the assembly of Formula 1 cars and sporting activities (F1 Clienti and XX program).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	To stay in tradition, we also visited the two Ferrari museums (Modena with a Ferrari 330 P4 and Maranello), the Maserati factory, the Pagani factory and museum, the Stanguellini museum, the Motor Valley Festival (presentation in advance -premiere of the Ferrari Roma Spider, Pagani Utopia and Lamborghini Revuelto among others, as well as a very nice tribute to Mauro Forghieri), the Toni Auto garage, etc. We also had the opportunity to see the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale before its presentation, as well as the replacement of the camouflaged LaFerrari, on the road. Not to mention excellent dinners at the best Ferrari-related restaurants.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	We were asked to represent Ferrari during the 24h of Le Mans drivers' parade, which takes place on Friday. We already knew that the Ferrari drivers were on the first two rows at the start. The excitement was at its height. It was just before winning the 24h of Le Mans with the Ferrari 499P!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It was a privileged moment, to be able to be with the 24h drivers the day before the start, in incredible conditions, to rub shoulders with them up close before the start of the parade: the Ferrari drivers, of course, but also Jenson Button, Sébastien Bourdais, Jean-Eric Vergne, etc.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It was incredible to pass through a crowd of 200,000 people admiring our Ferraris, taking photos of them and waiting to hear our engines roar. With a feeling of incredible communion and shared pleasure... on a large scale. Magic ! With top-notch organization from the association that manages the event.

	As curious as it may seem to you, the question comes up very often: Is the official <strong>color of the Ferrari brand yellow</strong>? And what color was the very first Ferrari? Why should the color of your first Ferrari be red? Why are Ferrari Formula 1 cars red? Taking a brief look back at the fabulous history of Ferrari will allow you to see things more clearly and find your answers.

	<strong><span>The yellow of the city of Modena</span></strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span>Scuderia Ferrari was founded in Modena, Italy on December 1, 1929. Originally, Scuderia Ferrari was a subsidiary of Alfa Romeo, whose cars it prepared for private drivers. The Scuderia Ferrari logo features a <strong>prancing horse on a yellow background</strong> and the colors of Italy at its top.</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span>Yellow is chosen because it is the <strong>color of the city of Modena</strong>. Modena is the city <strong>where Enzo Ferrari was born </strong>and where Scuderia Ferrari was created. The prancing horse was the personal emblem of Francesco Baracca, a heroic pilot who died during the First World War. In 1923 Enzo Ferrari met Count Enrico Baracca whose wife, Countess Paulina, told him one day “put my son's cavallino rampante on your machines. It will bring you luck.” Enzo Ferrari's brother, Alfredo, died at the start of the war while serving in the Baracca squadron.</span>

	<strong><span>The red of Italy in motor racing</span></strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span>On March 12, 1947, the first car bearing the Ferrari brand was produced in Maranello. This is the Ferrari 125 S (Chassis 01C) equipped with a 1,500 cc V12 developed by Gioacchino Colombo. Scuderia Ferrari is responsible for entering it in competition. The first victory took place in 1947 at the Rome Grand Prix where this first Ferrari 125 S was driven by Franco Cortese with the number 56. In six months, no less than 6 races were won out of 14 contested.</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span>This first Ferrari is red since the beginning of the century all cars have worn the color of their country during the Grand Prix. It's <strong>red for Italy, blue for France, green for Great Britain</strong> and gray for Germany, for example. This explains why Ferrari Formula 1 cars are still red today. This also explains why the most requested color for a road Ferrari is red as in competition, from which the entire history of Ferrari comes. The famous Rosso Corsa which has actually evolved over the years.</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	In summary, the color of the <strong>Ferrari logo is yellow</strong>, the color of the city of Modena. The color of the <strong>first Ferrari brand car is red</strong>, because it is the color of Italian Grand Prix cars.

<p>
	In mid-September 2023, the 4th international Ferrarista meeting took place in Auvergne with nearly 80 Ferraris coming from France, Belgium and Switzerland, but also members from Japan and New Zealand! At the beginning of March, in just one weekend, all available places had been taken! Madness.
</p>

<p>
	For what ? Because it's rare. Beyond all the activities offered, to be shared between enthusiasts, it is the incredible atmosphere which attracts, with this impression of being at home, among one's own, forgetting all your daily problems, for a few days of happiness outside time.
</p>

<p>
	Okay, but concretely, what was this 4th Ferrarista meeting? Well here are my top 5 of the best moments I experienced there. It will be different for everyone, and I thank you for sharing yours in comments, as the fabulous moments were numerous and varied.
</p>

</p>

<p>
	<br><strong>1. Enjoying the Ferrari ride with the other members</strong>
</p>

<p>
	The Saturday morning ride on the small Auvergne roads got off to a bad start, from my point of view: it was raining. GOOD. Since a long time. The landscape was gray and the road was slippery. My Ferrari Challenge Stradale, in the past, with its Pirelli tires, did not like these conditions. She had several times given me nice, unexpected slides, without particularly riding hard. Extreme vigilance is required in these conditions! Not very fun...<br>
	However, now equipped with Michelin tires, over the kilometers, I gained confidence on these wet roads to the point where I could really enjoy them. And on these small roads, the Ferrari Challenge Stradale is pure joy! Well planted on its supports, with the sound of a racing car invading the cabin, well harnessed in the harnesses, with someone in front (the pilot fish) who sends it well, these are moments that make you adore your Ferrari! A real kick that goes bananas!<br>
	A Ferrarista meeting is also that. Being able to drive in excellent conditions, on selected, magnificent roads, where you would probably never have gone alone, with lots of other Ferraris around, these are moments when you take full advantage of your Ferrari, of what it was designed to do. been designed. You get the most out of your purchase. With small rolling groups adapted to your driving style.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>2. Drive the extraordinary Ferrari F355 Challenge (or the Ferrari of your dreams)</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	My first Ferrari was a Ferrari F355. It was the Ferrari of my dreams. One of the most beautiful Ferraris ever produced, in my point of view, with a magnificent Formula 1 sound of the time, and the legendary metal grille for shifting gears. Several times I had looked at the Ferrari F355 Challenge but they seemed too radical for my use. <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1370-kani56-stradale56/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="1370" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1370-kani56-stradale56/" rel="">@kani56-Stradale56</a> came to the Ferrarista meeting with his newly acquired Ferrari F355 Challenge, fresh from a complete restoration by model specialists. Needless to say, it is magnificent and interested me a lot!<br>
	What was my surprise when <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1370-kani56-stradale56/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="1370" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1370-kani56-stradale56/" id="ips_uid_7840_6" rel="">@kani56-Stradale56</a> came to see me to ask me to do him “a favor”, without obligation to say yes. “The F355 Challenge is out of gas, I have to run the other Ferrari, would you mind going and filling it up?” What!? It's the kind of offer you can't refuse. We must seize the opportunity.<br>
	It's a real racing car. You have to be flexible to successfully fit into the passenger compartment. All the controls are harder than in a normal Ferrari F355. But you find your bearings relatively quickly, when you are used to the F355 like me. As soon as it is hot, on the other hand, it is very different. Pure happiness. A real kart. It's very light, comparatively, the sound invades the cabin even more, because of the stripping and the freer exhaust. Fabulous ! And therefore a great moment which will also remain engraved in my memory. Something to be experienced, from my point of view, by every Ferrari enthusiast. Because Ferrari is racing, it’s genes.<br>
	This is also what a Ferrarista meeting is: the opportunity to discover and ride in rare Ferraris, which perhaps you are considering acquiring in the future. And being able to get a real experience with the car can change everything, one way or the other. But at least you experience great moments sharing your passion.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>3. Drive your Ferrari on the legendary Mas du Clos circuit</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The Mas du Clos circuit is extraordinary. Everyone (in our Ferrari world) has in mind the fabulous test of the Ferrari F40 LM by Jacques Laffite, broadcast in Turbo on M6. It is above all the location of Pierre Bardinon’s incredible Ferrari collection. A very symbolic place for any Ferrarista. The reopening of this legendary circuit to the public could therefore not be missed, to enjoy it as soon as possible. From our next Ferrarista meeting!<br>
	I was not disappointed, on the contrary, by the difference between the perception of this circuit on video and actually driving on it. It is really very hilly and it is a great pleasure to go around it with your Ferrari. It also seemed wider to me, and therefore less “dangerous” (narrow and without clearance) than in the video. The parade of nearly 80 Ferraris on it was another magical moment, which puts stars in your eyes.<br>
	That's what a Ferrarista meeting is all about: legendary places, steeped in history, potentially linked to Ferrari and a unique opportunity to run your Ferrari on the circuit, in safe conditions. The opportunity to take full advantage of what a Ferrari is, something you cannot fully achieve, serenely, on the open road. With sessions for each level, and for ladies, so that absolutely everyone takes the opportunity to fully drive their Ferrari, pushing all gears up to 8-9,000 revs, in optimal conditions! Often for the first time, whether behind the wheel and/or on the track.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-Mas-du-Clos-Ferrarista-Meeting.JPG" data-fileid="133740" data-ratio="66.60" data-unique="lafmsir2g" width="1024" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2023_11/Ferrari-Mas-du-Clos-Ferrarista-Meeting.JPG.4612e0321bdbe08d4b865c729cebbc30.JPG"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>4. Share your passion with enthusiastic young fans</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Another huge reason for satisfaction during this Ferrarista meeting: the enthusiastic feedback from the young local generation. Not only does such a meeting allow you to meet and share with other passionate owners, in tune with you, but we also had several young people, including women, who tried to experience the event as closely as possible. Young people who are used to following local events, who take photos, share them and were present from the first evening, even before the meeting started the next day!
</p>

<p>
	It's always a pleasure to share as much as we can with other enthusiasts (see the cars, take photos, get in them, even take a ride as a passenger) and a pleasure to see that the next generation is assured! No, young people are not losing interest in our cars. No, the future will not only be electric. And any Ferrari enthusiast can experience great moments of passion today (and tomorrow).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>5. And... chat during a wonderful aperitif in the garden</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Finally, if I have to choose only five, I would also include, personally, among these top moments, the aperitif organized on Friday evening in the hotel garden. A large garden with trees, with tables and chairs everywhere, to sit and chat. Encourage meetings. The weather was nice and there was a particularly pleasant atmosphere, with the dozens of Ferraris parked all around, the low light of the setting sun, the mildness of the Indian summer, the jazz group playing nicely, the bar serving impeccable, the smiles of all participants, aware of the chance to participate in such a unique and promising event, because it was then just getting started...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-599-Ferrarista-Meeting.jpg" data-fileid="133742" data-ratio="66.60" data-unique="eoxjlb2w8" width="1024" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2023_11/Ferrari-599-Ferrarista-Meeting.jpg.0ea496fb8436fc29292c22abc55f5023.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Whoa! It was very difficult to choose only 5, and at the same time, the exercise allows you to paint a synthetic picture of the 4th Ferrarista meeting. To engrave very good memories here, for those who were lucky enough to participate. To describe a little more, without too much length, what to expect, if you wish to participate in the next one.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I could also have told you about my intervention on the subject of Ferrarista.club, allowing me to give perspective to the members, the very good restaurants discovered, all the thumbs up and the positive feedback along the roads, the <strong><a href="https://www.modenasporttoulouse.fr/modena-toulouse/" rel="external nofollow">Modena Sport dealership</a></strong> from Toulouse, extraordinary partner, which allowed members to test the Ferrari Roma and 296 GTS, the Ferrari F40 and 458 Challenge present for baptisms on the circuit, and above all the extraordinary organization set up by <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10556-calif38/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="10556" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10556-calif38/" rel="">@Calif38</a>, califette, <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1864-chtisuisse/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="1864" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1864-chtisuisse/" rel="">@chtisuisse</a>, <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10063-grhum/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="10063" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10063-grhum/" rel="">@grhum</a> and all the members who helped as pilot fish (leader of a driving group), grid girls, photographer or videographer, instructor driver on the circuit. A colossal job. A big THANK YOU to them!
</p>

<p>

<p>
	A big THANK YOU also <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/11683-ferruccio/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="11683" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/11683-ferruccio/" rel="">@Ferruccio</a> for his superb photos illustrating this article.

<p>
	This top 5 only reflects my personal choices. If you were lucky enough to be able to participate, what were your top moments from this meeting, from your point of view, with a little hindsight? What was great and what would you like to relive at the next Ferrarista meeting? What could we improve?<br>
	If you weren't able to participate, what did you find great in one of your previous outings that we could draw inspiration from?

<p>
	After a first meeting in the Jura, organized by the Gang des Lyonnais, and the second in the Gorges du Verdon, organized by the Squadra du Sud, last year, no less than <strong>70 Ferraris met over three days in Champagne</strong> mid-September 2022. Incredible! And yet this figure was reached very quickly and limited by the accommodation capacity of the hotels. Coming from all over France, Switzerland and Belgium, what had their owners been looking for? What did they experience during those three days? Why didn't they want to go back?

<p>
	<strong>Day 1 : Circuit des Ecuyers</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The first day, Friday September 16, was a day on the track! Why ? <strong>So many Ferraris on the circuit?</strong> The big advantage is that the circuit allows everyone to stay static in the same place, to <strong>facilitate meetings</strong> from day one. The Ferraris were parked by model, in order to allow exchanges between owners of the same model and to obtain an even more beautiful parking lot for the photos.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Driving a Ferrari isn't always easy: they're expensive cars, a dream come true, and owners don't want to damage them. However, over the years, more and more members are taking the plunge. This is an opportunity to <strong>enjoy your Ferrari to the fullest in complete safety, without fear of the police</strong>. A majority of owners have taken their Ferraris to the track, in addition to the parade, which offers great photos of all our Ferraris on the track.

<p>
	<br>
	The <a href="http://circuitdesecuyers.com/" rel="external nofollow">Circuit des Ecuyers</a>, which had been selected, is a very secure circuit, with wide grass clearances. It's a technical circuit where you never go very fast. A hilly circuit more interesting than a flat circuit. <strong>The women's session</strong>, organized for the first time, <strong>was a huge success</strong>, with many getting behind the wheel of the Ferrari for the first time!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Another big success of this first day were <strong>the Ferrari 296 GTB tests</strong> organized in collaboration with the <a href="https://paris.ferraridealers.com/fr-FR" rel="external nofollow">Charles Pozzi Ferrari dealership</a>. <strong>Thirty half-hour tests were done in one day, which is huge. </strong>There were many more requests than places, unfortunately. The feedback was very positive on these tests and on this new Ferrari
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	A huge success also for <strong>the instructor pilots</strong> who were <strong>absolutely in demand all day</strong>. Having an instructor driver reassures, especially beginners, and helps them to progress quickly, quickly getting their bearings on this circuit and analyzing the particular <strong>points to improve in order to progress</strong>.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Lunch, inside the circuit, was provided by <a href="https://www.bertacchi.fr/" rel="external nofollow">the caterer Les Réceptions Bertacchi</a>. The people in charge of the circuit told us that it was exceptional to bring together on the circuit so many cars of a single brand, that never happens again, and even of a brand as prestigious as Ferrari.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	It is the<a href="https://www.hoteldesfrancs.fr/" rel="external nofollow"> Hôtel des Francs in Soissons</a>, which welcomed the participants to rest after the trip and this first day on the circuit. Their hospitality was exceptional, with, among others; the hotel manager, himself, helping the Ferraris park in the underground car park to make everything perfect.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	A tombola was organized at the time of the cocktail with <strong>a lot of Ferrari-related prizes</strong>, some of which offered by <a href="https://brussels.ferraridealers.com/fr-FR" rel="external nofollow">Francorchamps Motors Ferrari dealership</a> and by <a href="https://www.emiliaparts.fr/" rel="external nofollow">Emilia Parts, the Ferrari parts specialist</a>. Each participant left with at least <strong>a good bottle of champagne and glasses engraved with the image of the famous prancing horse</strong>. A beautiful souvenir to take home.

<p>
	<strong>Day 2 : Tourist circuit in Champagn</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The second day of this Ferrarista meeting started with very beautiful Champagne roads, almost empty on a Saturday morning, between Soissons and Reims. The objective was to visit <a href="https://www.musee-automobile-reims-champagne.com/" rel="external nofollow">the automobile museum of Reims</a>, which offers one of the five largest collections in France. A great opportunity to dive back and talk about these cars that rocked our childhood and that we no longer see on the roads.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Lunch was organized next door, in <a href="https://lescrayeres.com/fr/" rel="external nofollow">the famous Domaine des Crayères</a> which has 2 stars in the Michelin guide. The car park was reserved for a magnificent lunch that will be remembered, as everything was perfect: the champagne of course, the delicious dishes, the impeccable service, the magnificent setting, etc.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="crayeres-458.jpg" data-fileid="116044" data-ratio="75.00" data-unique="rhcf0pe0e" width="1024" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2022_10/crayeres-458.jpg.c6f29cd713bbdc6a0efcf872fdbea249.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The participants then took the beautiful road between Reims and Epernay. The afternoon was devoted to <strong>visiting the cellars of Champagne Mercier</strong>, the only house capable of accepting such a large group of people. Their little train travels part of the 18 kilometers of underground cellars. The return to Soissons was on <strong>very beautiful roads</strong>, on the slopes of Champagne, between <strong>small typical villages,</strong> with very beautiful views.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The evening started with a cocktail, during which was briefly presented <strong>the history of Ferrarista</strong>, where it is today and <strong>the prospects for the future</strong>. This beautiful evening was also marked by a surprise gift offered by <a href="https://www.hoteldesfrancs.fr/" rel="external nofollow">the Hôtel des Francs in Soissons</a>: <strong>a cake in the shape of the Ferrarista.club logo</strong>, made of marzipan. A very delicate attention, much appreciated.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Day 3 : the Reims-Gueux circuit</strong><br>

</p>

<p>
	On Sunday morning, the Ferraris took other very beautiful country roads between Soissons and Reims, with the pleasure of admiring the long line of Ferraris winding through the valleys, with <strong>the smiles and thumbs up of onlookers</strong>.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The objective was <strong>the mythical circuit of Reims-Gueux</strong>, where Ferrari won several victories. Thanks to a prefectural authorization, the 70 Ferraris were authorized to park along the famous restored grandstands of the circuit. Thanks to <a href="https://www.amis-du-circuit-de-gueux.fr/" rel="external nofollow">the Association des amis du circuit de Gueux</a>, we were also able to have lunch in the stands opposite, with our Ferraris lined up in front of us. Exceptional there too!

<p>
	<strong>Special Thanks</strong><br>

</p>

<p>
	The weather was exceptional during these three days, which helped a lot to make it a memorable Ferrari meeting, like the previous two. It was also exceptional thanks to the 140 participants, their enthusiasm, their smiles, their benevolence, their lively exchanges.

	After these periods of confinement and pandemic, it feels great to come back to Rétromobile! Fewer exhibitors, return to a smaller space, was the show going to keep its promises or mark a change in trend? What were the beautiful Ferraris not to be missed on the spot, because they are rare to see otherwise? What was this Retromobile 2022 vintage worth?

<p>
	In old and rare Ferraris, <a href="https://www.atelierdescoteaux.com/" rel="external nofollow">Atelier des Coteaux</a> presented a <strong>Ferrari 212 Inter Spider Vignale</strong>. Out of 80 examples of Ferrari 212 produced between 1951 and 1953, only 7 examples of Spider were made by Vignale.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This example, chassis #0125EL, has a special history. In May 1951, this chassis was used by the Ferrari factory to finalize the tests of the model, in the form of a coupé. In August 1951, Vignale rebuilt it as a spider. Of the 7 existing examples, it is probably the only one to have 3 carburettors. Indeed the Inter configurations were road models, equipped with a single twin-barrel carburetor, while the Export configurations were intended for competition with 3 carburetors (optional for Inter models).

<p>
	In 1987, the Italian coachbuilder Dino Cognolatto acquired it and transformed it into a racing berlinetta. The current owner bought it in this configuration from <a href="https://www.dkeng.co.uk/" rel="external nofollow">DK Engineering</a> in 2015, who called it back a few months later to announce that they had found the original #0125EL bodywork! It was then fully restored.

The crowd was also smaller, apparently, because on Sunday morning it was easy to get around. It remains to be seen how this show will evolve in the years to come, but Rétromobile remains an excellent way to see exceptional vehicles and to (re)immerse yourself in the history of the brands.

<p>
	Each year, Rétromobile, in the heart of winter, launches the season and lets you see the market trends. Which Ferrari will be in the spotlight this year? Which Ferrari will be on sale? What is the market trend? What new Ferrari books are coming out? Which coachbuilders and vendors stand out and have the wind in their sails? What have the different event organizers prepared for 2018? Retromobile allows you to make a first round of these questions.

<p>
	<strong>The 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Daytona</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	With the 50th anniversary of the iconic Ferrari Daytona being celebrated this year, you could see a lot in this 2018 edition of Rétromobile. You could see the stand of Ferrari Classiche, which seems the least of things, but also on stands of insurers, who know how to put forward.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-Daytona-Cabriolet.jpg" data-fileid="61125" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="hf34wdvy9" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-Daytona-Cabriolet.jpg.8ecd4e55f40fa4353068b8336bccaea0.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	In all I counted <strong>a dozen Ferrari Daytona</strong> present at Rétromobile, which makes it the most present Ferrari! This is exceptional ! Exceptional also, the fact that among this dozen Ferrari Daytona, you could admire two beautiful copies of Ferrari Daytona Spider!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-Classiche-Daytona.jpg" data-fileid="61121" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="26femy9u7" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-Classiche-Daytona.jpg.353167cf9d5148ea1cc4db5d41aef2dd.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	On the Ferrari Classiche stand, the dust-covered Ferrari Daytona, with cat's footprints, was <strong>Japan's famous "barn exit"</strong>.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>A good ten Ferrari 250 GT Passo Corto</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Equally exceptional, there were almost as many <strong>Ferrari 250 GT Passo Corto</strong> (or SWB for Short Wheel Base in English) present and mostly almost all on one stand, that of Lukas Hüni. This model is probably my favorite in the classic Ferrari, so seeing as many gathered, I was thrilled!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_192021.jpg" data-fileid="61112" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="faf9bfpwp" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_192021.jpg.9bffe70361947b6cf262ff7a613ed4d3.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	A unique copy was present in the lot: the <strong>Ferrari 250 GT SWB bodied by Bertone</strong> and which is rarely visible. Unfortunately for the photos, he was exposed in the middle of the stand, with many spots shining on his dark blue body.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-250-GT-SWB.jpg" data-fileid="61124" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="cn4fhb3z4" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-250-GT-SWB.jpg.e6b5f57d4b3cb4ef148b74e8515f690e.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>The other classic Ferrari</strong><br>

</p>

<p>
	Among the other classic Ferrari, you first noticed <strong>three Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet</strong>: a series 1, a series 2 and a California. All three in beautiful condition.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_194818.jpg" data-fileid="61118" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="cf8q5okke" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_194818.jpg.89c7199c06b40d12bc06a389344bd043.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	You then noticed all the <strong>Ferrari 275 GTB</strong>s present. I counted no less than six. There was also a blue <strong>Ferrari 250 GTE</strong>, a red <strong>Ferrari 275 GTS</strong> presented by Gallery Aaldering or a grey <strong>Ferrari 330</strong>.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_193618.jpg" data-fileid="61116" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="4c6v1xwiv" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_193618.jpg.16b247c7c76a4fc3d11882939c0cfc1c.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	You could also meet, at the turn of a stand, a <strong>Ferrari 166 MM</strong>, one of the first Ferrari produced by Ferrari. Some Dino were present at Retromobile, but much less than in previous years, from my point of view, as if the fad was a little past.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Among the rarities, a <strong>Ferrari 212 export Vignale</strong> from 1951 was exhibited on the stand of Gallery Aaldering. A very nice Ferrari <strong>250 GT Lusso</strong> was next to the Sport &amp; Collection stand.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_194612.jpg" data-fileid="61117" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="k56ecxnsp" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_194612.jpg.f34a7e8b72a0bc296383846dc1305f56.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Ferrari F1 and competition</strong><br>

</p>

<p>
	Several F1s of the 90s, driven by Alain Prost, Jean Alesi and Gerahrd Berger were present in the alleys of Rétromobile 2018. You could also admire a<strong> Ferrari 512 M</strong>, driven by David Piper, as well as a <strong>Ferrari 512 BB LM</strong> of the Ecurie Francorchamps, driven by Beurlys.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_192940.jpg" data-fileid="61114" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="wy1nn6koy" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_192940.jpg.f60c8b367488216e45f9101c0328ff64.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-BB-512.jpg" data-fileid="61120" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="zn75d70tq" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-BB-512.jpg.cf29f8fe120f42913920b1addcf6d371.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Ferrari under 40 years</strong><br>

</p>

<p>
	This year there was from my point of view <strong>much less recent Ferrari</strong> on the stands of different sellers. The list is not exhaustive, but if I look at my photos, I count: <strong>two Ferrari F40</strong>s, including one on the Movendi stand, a Ferrari Enzo auction, two Ferrari F355, some Ferrari 308 and 328, and two Ferrari BB 512 including a beautiful, restored, brown / gold.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-F40.jpg" data-fileid="61122" data-ratio="57.13" data-unique="j040z0m8h" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-F40.jpg.72a4c889ee784bbbcf1717702c6dde8e.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Following the recent death of <strong>Johnny Halliday</strong>, one of the trends of this 2018 edition of Rétromobile was the cars that belonged to him. A <strong>Ferrari 512 TR</strong>, which will be auctioned in March, was exhibited on the Osenat stand.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Ferrari-512-TR-Johnny.jpg" data-fileid="61123" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="xjilgy8qh" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/Ferrari-512-TR-Johnny.jpg.0267f1526eb2746714c61a7a513e1104.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Lamborghini Miura at the Polo Storico</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	There are many other very interesting automobiles in Retromobiles apart from Ferrari. For example, you can see your grandmother's Renault 4cv, or your father's Renautl 9, in the youngtimers section. You also have Renault taxis of the early twentieth century that offered you a ride outside the exhibition halls.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<img alt="PSX_20180210_193146.jpg" data-fileid="61115" data-ratio="56.25" data-unique="wihy9heuq" width="800" src="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/uploads/monthly_2018_02/PSX_20180210_193146.jpg.6b799065240bcb0b18d7596397b94ace.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	My favorite, because it was really beautiful, was the <strong>Lamborghini Miura Verde</strong> presented on the stand of the Polo Storico Lamborghini. This is another trend, with the presence of the manufacturers' restoration centers at Rétromobile. They all play, including Ferrari, on their archives that they stage to assert their strong point.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Conclusion</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Rétromobile is also a lot of meetings. I had the chance to visit backcountry this year with <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10160-mike051/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="10160" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/10160-mike051/" id="ips_uid_3394_8" rel="">@Mike051</a> and Olivier. We met other members of Ferrarista on site, according to the aisles, whose <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/151-ludo/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="151" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/151-ludo/" id="ips_uid_3394_7" rel="">@LUDO</a> and <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1508-caesar-nello/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="1508" href="https://www.ferrarista.club/ferrari-forum/profile/1508-caesar-nello/" id="ips_uid_3394_9" rel="">@Caesar Nello</a>.<br>
	This event allows you to take the time to chat with other enthusiasts around the models.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	After a 2017 edition of Rétromobile devoted among other things to the 70th anniversary of Ferrari, this 2018 edition could have seemed very bland to the owners of Ferrari. It is not, as you have read, with, among others, the 50 years of the Ferrari Daytona and the dozen Ferrari 250 GT SWB present.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Have you been to Retromobile 2018? What are the Ferrari and other models that have the most marked you? What did you notice about the auctions? Do you have questions if you could not get there?

A birthday cake was even planned, giving us the opportunity to all sing together! The restaurant was excellent and the pouring rain, with many flashes, dissuaded the majority to continue the evening at the Ferrari show in Fiorano. It was broadcast on TV on the Rai. Jamiroquai, a great Ferrari enthusiast, sang 5 songs at the end of the show.

Two problems were reported. First of all, the roadbook provided stopped at Parma, so they did not know how to get to Maranello. That's why they arrived in scattered order and that there was no parade of the 500 Ferrari of the rally in Maranello. Too bad for the tifosi. Then the Ferrari were to stay in Fiorano on Saturday night and the owners were brought by bus to their hotel in Parma, more than an hour's drive. It's long.

		For the sixth year in a row, Pour la sixième année consécutive, Ferrarista members have offered to have a ride in their Ferrari, at Le Havre, to raise money for a good cause. Many thanks to Joël, JMJ61, AzScud, JMM91, BossProtection, Pierrebx, Trafalgar, Ferdelance76, nanfer28, Guillaume ... for the many rides performed on Saturday the 17th of September at the Docks Vauban at Le Havre. The cause sustained this year was France Alzeihmer 76 that help people with Alzeihmers disease.

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		Appointment was taken, for Ferrarista members leaving Paris, on Saturday morning at 8:30 am on the first rest stop after the toll of Mantes-la-Jolie. Rinding together, with a dozen Ferrari before you and in your mirrors, is always a rare pleasure, which allows a great start for a meeting. It also allows participants to meet before the event really starts, which facilitates the integration into the group. A convoy also avoids that some people have trouble finding the precise location of the event. In short, a departure in convoy has many advantages !

	</div>

	<div>
		<span class="im">Once there, we had to proceed to the inscriptions. These formalities are essential to ensure the smooth running of the event, with only owners who have a license, insurance, a plan of the circuit ... It is the opportunity to retrieve the tickets for lunch and discuss with representatives of the beneficiary association of the operation, France Alzheimer this year. </span>

	<div>
		<strong>The rides</strong>
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		Amongst the cars, a high diversity was proposed by the members of Ferrarista: from the Ferrari 458 Speciale to the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, through the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Ferrari F430 and F430 Spider, Ferrari 360 Modena, Ferrari F355 and Ferrari 348. But the other marquees were not forgottel, for even more variety, with an Audi R8 V10, a Corvette Z06 or a Porche 911 Cabriolet, for example.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		After the first offered rides in the dry, allowing to discover the circuit, it's time for lunch. It's a complete menu that was offered in the Pizzria Del'Arte, whose wiondows overlooked our Ferrari. Tomato mozzarella, pizza or pasta choice, tiramisu or dessert sampler, a coffee and a drink : we remain in Italy and the food is good after getting up so early. The restaurant owner came to see us to discuss : he's a Ferrarista member!

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		The afternoon is the heart of the action. From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm the rain falls, making the road wet and candidates for a ride are rare. Usually we did lots of rides without stopping, this time it was a fight to ge tsomeone for a ride in your car. The funds raised will be lower this year, but the smiles of the children, happy to ride in a Ferrari, were there. The slightest affluence has also allowed some parents to offer 4 or 5 rides to their children. Even though the money raised is not yet knpwn, it wil help people with Alzheimer's disease.

		<strong>Evening meeting with members of Ferrarista</strong>
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		At 6:00 pm a cocktail was offered, always behind the windows of Pizzeria Del'Arte, allowing to lokk at our cars. The presidents of the two local Lions Clubs took the oppotunity to thank all the drivers. Throughout the event, many announcements at the micro had indicated that the pilots were volunteers and paid their gas, because general public don't know it and sometimes they think they are paid.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		At 8:80 pm we went to the Les Régates restaurant on the harbor of Le Havre. A maritime atmosphere in the marina, around a good meal, allowed the members to disccus about their day and to better know each other.

		<strong>Cruising on the côte fleurie</strong>

	</div>

	<div>
		A cruising on the côte fleurie, particulary between Le Havre and Deauville, through Honfleur, was organised on Sunday the 18th of September in the morning to allow the members of Ferrarista coming from afar to spend a whole weekend there and have more time to meet.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		The sun in the Sunday morning was good after the rain of the previous day and allowed convertibles to drop their hood. In Deauville, all the present members enjoyed a coffee taken on the boards of the famous beach of Deauville.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		This cruising ended with a lunch at the Country Club of Le Havre. This restaurant offers not only quality food, but also a magnificent view of the city of Le Havre and the whole Seine bay. Ideal to finish off this weekend passed together and to give the will to come back next year!

		The rain kept us to achieve as many rides as in the previous years. We discussed about it with the members of the Lions Clubs that organize this event and communication around this event should be strengthened to address this case. The cruising on the Côte Fleurie will probably go to Etretat next year.
